Ladies and Gentleman…. it’s time for #WGG. We took a week off to enjoy a fantastic weekend of WWE events. Since we last placed bets, the following took place:

  1. I had a nasty allergic reaction that caused my skin to rash and my joints to swell
  2. I landed the number one overall pick in my fantasy football draft

I am the reigning, defending, undisputed, fantasy football champion of the world! I have the number one pick. I kept Todd Gurley. I have no idea who I’m picking first. I’m open for suggestions. Leave them in the comments or find me on Twitter @5starshowtime.

Since we skipped a weekend of gambling, we must review our successes from the previous #WGG.

Last edition record: 7-4

Last edition profit/loss: Profit $1,460

Year to Date record: 88-83-2-2

Year to Date profit/loss: Profit $2,300

Thank you Brooks Koepka for winning the PGA Championship!

Before we get into this week’s #WGG, I must make a few announcements. We will be having The Five Star Show Podcast beginning Sunday September 2! You can click the Podcast tab on the home page. We are on SoundCloud, Stitcher, and Tune In. I’m working on iTunes currently. Also we have the YouTube page The Five Star Show where we did some pre and post coverage of WWE SummerSlam. We will do more stuff on the YouTube page in the coming weeks.

The site is growing rapidly. The social media is doing well. Thanks to everyone that has supported us to this point. As we get bigger, you’ll get to say you were here first.

Now for the bets! All odds come to us from Bovada unless otherwise noted. All bets are $100 unless otherwise noted. Profits are based off the amount of money bet for that event. My picks are in BOLD.

DENVER (+3 -115 $87) vs Washington

DETROIT (+3 EVEN $100) vs Tampa Bay

Hawaii vs COLORADO STATE (-14 -110 $91)

New Orleans vs LOS ANGELES CHARGERS (-2.5 -110 $91)

That’s all I’m betting this weekend. I’m treading lightly. Trying to get to major college football and regular season NFL. Find me on Twitter @5starshowtime or the site @TheFiveStarShow. Use #WGG on Twitter to follow along.
